Counselling
BCCSC offers a counselling programme that aims at equipping clients with the necessary skills to face life's challenges, enabling them to work toward independence and to function as responsible individuals in the society.
The
Counselling Programme is available to everyone, regardless of race or
religion, who has a need for such support. BCCSC also receives cases
referred by other government and community bodies such as schools,
hospitals and religious institutions. Walk-ins or referrals through
friends or relatives are also accepted. The areas of counselling
include marital, interpersonal, financial, family-related, elder care,
behavioural problems in schools and education-related issues.
