Bethesda Care and Counselling Services Centre (BCCSC) is a voluntary welfare organization and a member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS). Since our inception, we have depended on voluntary donations from individuals and organizations to run our operations and services.

BCCSC Bursary Award Ceremony

On 23 November 2011, Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman (Senior Parliament Secretary, Ministry of Defence & Ministry of National Development and Mayor, South East District) kindly graced the Bursary Award Ceremony with his presence.

 

This is the 12th year that BCCSC is handling out bursary awards to students in need, with an aim to help ease the burdens of the costs of education. This year, BCCSC received the highest number of awards given out, with 184 Primary and Secondary School students, with vouchers amounting to more than $48,000. Also present were Mr Don Wallace, Senior Vice President of ConocoPhillips, and his team. BCCSC would like to thank Dr Maliki and ConocoPhillips for their kind support and contribution to the works of BCCSC.

Our Active Seniors were at the LivEnabled Showcase!

Over the weekend, our group of Active Ageing Seniors put up a lively performance of singing and line dancing at the showcase. Mr Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Health, launched the inaugural showcase at the Singapore Expo. Read More
