When I see the smiles from the people whom I send the meals to and the immobility of some of the elderly people, I know that in some small ways, I have contributed to their well-being by bringing food to them”

 - Ms Yeo, Meals Delivery Volunteer

“What is needed is just a listening ear and some company and these             simple gestures have already brought so much joy to her (the elderly)"

 - Brendan, Elderly Befriender Volunteer

"I choose to help out in BCCSC as I felt it was meaningful and gave me a chance to interact with different people outside my usual circle. It is not difficult; all you need is to be open to new friendships and some level of commitment and passion.  I have made many new friends and gained a new-found confidence in myself."

- Pei Yi, Youth Services Volunteer
